Jamiyyatul Falah Greenview School/College held Alumni-Parents Annual Sports day.

Jamiyyatul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization aided Greenview primary, high school and college conducted Alumni (old students) and Parents Annual Sports day-2018 on Monday, 24 December 2018 at 9:30am. in Greenview sports ground at Adkare Padpu, Konaje.

The event began with Principal Aboobakar welcoming the gathering and dignitaries.  Alumni Association President, Abdul Khader presided over the meeting, Vice President Mustafa and General Secretary Siraj Adkarepadpu spoke in the event and urged the members to actively participate to make the event a grand success.

Jamiyyatul Falah Administrator Shameer Ahmed Kudroli inaugurated the event. In his inaugural address he encouraged the Alumni of the school as well as parents of the students to participate in large numbers in such sort of events which was a fun bonding for parents and their children on sports day. He emphasised the alumni that, it’s the time to give back to the school which provided them everything when they were none. He further added that such event is a chance to come back, get together with your old classmates/teammates, play some sport, and re-live all the memories.

Shameer Kudroli took the advantage of this event and informed the parents to encourage their children to concentrate and support them during the examination period as children need moral support to excel in their final exams which may bring the laurels to the school and community. As such event was conducted for the first time in the school, he highlighted that more parents and alumni shall be invited to participate in the coming years.

Annual friendly day of competition brought together alumni of all ages. The fun time included everything from Kabaddi, Throwball, shot-put to cricket match and tug-of-war for men. Musical chair, bombing the city, shot-put and spoon and lemon race were conducted for women participants.

The fantastic turnout from the Alumni and the pleasant weather gave a perfect boost for the old students on their very first sports day celebration in the school ground, even the students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way. Once the event began, the air was filled with cheers and tons of encouragement for the seniors.

There were some games for parents and staff to know each other better. It was indeed a fun bonding for parents and their children on sports day.  It has been decided by the Alumni Association to hold the Alumni Sports Day every year in a grand manner.

School Teacher Namitha B.N. compered the program and Physical Trainer Mohammed Ashraf coordinated the sports event.

Jamiyattul Falah and D.K. Education dept. held Teachers Meet to enhance SSLC result in minority community students.

Jamiyattul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization in association with D.K. Zillah Panchayath Public Education Department conducted Teachers Meet with Dakshina Kannada  district schools to improve and enhance the result in forthcoming SSLC board examination  on  Monday, 17/12/2018 from 9:30am. at Jamiyyatul Falah Headquarters Auditorium, near Rahmaniya Masjid, Kankanady.

The event started with the rhyme recital by Hamza Mittur. JF D.K. & Udupi district President Shahul Hameed K.K. inaugurated and welcomed the large gathering.  He stressed the priority to improve the SSLC result especially in backward class by giving utmost importance to the studies and convince the students who are studying in SSLC to give priority to the final exams keeping assigned their other activities in order to perform well in the preparatory and final exams. A total of 203 teachers were present in the meeting from 104 schools.

Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) Mr. Sivaramayya, had illustrated the pass percentage of minority students with some statistics and informed all the teachers to get charged to bring good result in D.K. Teachers of various schools spoke in the event and expressed their hindrance in some areas to be improved.

Many teachers gave their opinion on how to improve the upcoming SSLC results. JFCC Treasurer Ibrahim Kodijal, General Secretary Saleem Handel, V.P. Abu Mohammed, Administrator Shameer Ahmed Kudroli and JFCC executive members were present to witness the beneficial program.

Following are the concern from some of the teachers for the Muslim minority students. Which includes (a) Postponement of madarassa exam timing so that the students get more time for their school exams studies, (b) Avoid the floodlight matches and tournaments which sometime end up at 1:00am during the time of examination or prior three months from examination date. (c) Avoid SSLC students’ involvement from religious activities which end up in late night. (d) Imam (masjid head) of each jamath (vicinity) shall take the initiative and encourage the students to concentrate on their studies for better results and last but not the least each school teachers must give special attention to the lacking minority students so that they can get good grades in the upcoming SSLC Exams.

Towards the end, suggestions were taken from the teachers to overcome the hindrance and improve the results.

Jamiyyatul Falah provided such a platform to improve and encourage backward minority students to get more interest in their studies. This initiative was well appreciated by district education department as well as they praised the contribution of Jf in the field of education and health sector.

Jamiyyatul Falah Greenview School/College Inaugurated three days Annual Sports Meet.

Jamiyyatul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization aided Greenview primary, high school and college inaugurated three days Annual Sports Meet-2018 on Thursday, 13 December 2018 at 9:30am. in Greenview sports ground at Adkare Padpu, Konaje.

The event started with a positive note from School/college Principal Aboobaker who welcomed the dignitaries.  JFCC treasurer Ibrahim Kodijal was the presiding officer for the event. He hoisted the flag and took the salute from the cadets of school’s four houses. In his presidential speech, he stressed to give importance to sports for the growth of mind and body.

A.B.Hassainar inaugurated the sports event. Jamiyyatul Falah Administrator Distinguished Toastmaster Shameer Ahmed Kudroli emphasized that such event will boost the confidence in students and sports will play vital role in shaping up the students to become leaders in future. Al Ihsan Youth association President and old student association Secretary M.C. Siraj Adkarepadpu spoke in the event. Primary school head teacher Mrs. Evlin D Ivan, social worker Mohammed and school development committee members were also present on the dais.

Old student associate vice president Mustafa received the guard of honour. Vice President of Sneha Deepa Mrs.Thabssum who were also the former student of the school received the torch flam from sports captain as a symbol to commence the event. Panchayath members Mrs. Thahira and Mrs. Flevi were also present in the event.

The event has taken forward by the children marching in their sports uniform which made the event more colourful, besides being spectacular, there is something inexplicably inspiring about a march fast was a sense of dignity and pride the cadets bring to it. A well-coordinated march-fast was a feast to the eyes and ears where coupled with some string marching music.

Thousands of students have come out of the school after passing the matriculation and pursued higher education in pre-university college till now. At present the school has 310 students and 14 teaching staff.  The primary school students’ get midday meal and milk under midday meal & Ksheera Bhagya scheme of the Karnataka Government. However JF provide these facilities to high school and college students as well. In addition, the children are being provided with books and other requirements free of cost.  The schools have assumed a proactive role in the community development by educating parents and local residents on sanitation, hygiene, value of education and such other issues of public importance.

Jamiyattul Falah Mangaluru City Unit conducts Edu-Care Camp at JF HQ Hall, Kankanady

Jamiyattul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization’s Mangaluru Corporation Unit conducted JF Edu-Care camp to provide guidance pertaining to the topics such as Motivational Talk, career guidance, goal setting, CET pre-counselling guidance, orientation on civil service exams and government jobs, information on scholarship and facilities for SSLC, PUC, Degree and PG students on  Sunday, 2/12/2018 from 9:00am to 2:30pm at Jamiyyatul Falah HQ, Community hall, near Rahmaniya Masjid, Kankanady.

The event started with the Quran recitation by the unit President of Mangalore Corporation Mr. AbdulQadir. Mr. Imtiyaz Katib welcomed the august gathering.  JF D.K. & Udupi district President Shahul Hameed K.K. inaugurated and enlighten the importance of such camps in student life. NRCC Riyadh representative Parvez Ali also briefed the gathering.

Jamiyattul Falah felicitated Mind trainer and managing director of Sadhana academy Dr. Surfraz J. Hashim who was recently conferred with ‘National Healthcare Icon Award 2018’ for his outstanding contribution in the field of mind training towards holistic health with the help of traditional science to promote and development of natural health.

Dr. Surfraz Hashim conducted the training for the students related mind power and how to mend the mind power positively to face the examination with confidence.

Mr. Syed Ameen Ahmed, research scholar and career guidance trainer, elaborately explained the students to get the benefits of the limitless opportunities available in the current job market once they complete the education.

Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed furnished the particulars on scholarship and facilities provided by the government to the minority students.

Senior members of Jamiyyatul Falah M.I.Bava, Hamad Bava, Saduddin Salih, PBA Razzak, Aboobakar G.H., B.S. Basheer, Salih Koya, Hamza Mittur, Nazeer Ahmed, Ibrahim Kodijal, Adam Byari and JF Administrator Shameer Ahmed Kudroli were also present to grace the event.

Jamiyattul Falah aided Green View High School and Pre-university College, Adkare Padpu, Konaje students also participated to avail the advantage of the camp.

This training camp had a very good response and was a grand success. This Edu-care camp encouraged the organizers to promote such sessions in schools and colleges for the benefit of students.

Jamiyattul Falah, a well-established charity organisation was incepted with the message ‘Education is the Key to Success’ in the year 1988 by like-minded community leaders. It heralded a revolution in creating awareness on education in the Muslim community of DK & Udupi.

It has been instrumental in bringing about a sea-change in educational awareness in Muslim community. It made systematic efforts to see that the message ‘Education is the Key to Success’ reached the Muslim community in remote parts of the district. It roped in leaders of local bodies, formed taluk level committees and encouraged and guided youths to join the movement. Gulf sector of JF units largely in Jubail, Dammam, Riyadh, and Jeddah also joined hands to support the cause wholeheartedly.
