Jamiyattul Falah Mangaluru Taluk held Free Ayush treatment camp at Naringana

As a part of its efforts to make basic healthcare accessible for all, Jamiyattul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization’s Mangaluru Taluk unit conducted free Ayush Treatment Camp with the support of South Kanara District Ayush Dept. and Yenepoya Ayurveda and Homeopathy Hospital, Kollarakodi and Naringana Grama Panchayath at Naringana Panchayath Auditorium on Tuesday, 29th January 2019.

Naringana Panchayath President Ismail Minamkodi Presided over the meeting, Yenepoya University ViceChancellorDr.Raguveer inaugurated the event and encouraged the gathering to get the benefits of such campa to lead a healthy life. He shared valuable information with the participants.

Jamiyattul Falah Mangalore Taluk Unit President Ibrahim Kodijal, Yenepoya Ayurvedic Medical College Principal Dr.PrassanaIthar, Yenepoya Homoepathi Medical College Principal Dr.Varnakar, D.K. District K.D.P. Padmanaba P. ,Naringana Panchayath P.D.O. Rajani and memebrs, D.K. Depats; Seior Doctors like Dr.Noorulla, Dr.Sahana, Dr.Manikarmany other members participated in the event to make it a resounding success.

A special team of Specialist Doctors, Consultants, Nurses and volunteers conducted the camp. More than 200 people got the benefits during the duration of the camp.

JF Mangalore Taluk Unit General SecretaryM.H. Malar welcomed the gathering,D.K. District Ayush Departments Dr.Ajith offered the vote of thanks.

Yenepoya Medical College Camp coordinator Abdul Razzak compered the program.

At present it has 13 units speared over Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district. Four (4) units are actively serving in Saudi Arabia’s Jubail, Dammam, Riyadh and Jeddah cities.

Jamiyyatul FalahMangaluru City Unit distributed fruits among the patients to celebrate Republic Day

Jamiyyatul  Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization’s Mangaluru Corporation Unit distributed fruits among patients of Lady Goshen Hospital, Kairiya Trust Thokkotu Girls School students and HIV care centre‘SnehaDeepa’ home for children through a program as part of social responsibility of the society on the occasion of Republic day on 26th January 2019.

The event started with the Quran recitation, subsequently inaugurated by the President of Mangalore Corporation Unit Mr. AbdulQadir.

In occasion, the chief doctor and staff members appreciated Jamiyyatul Falah’s contribution to lift the society’s downtrodden community.  They appreciated the members of the organization for their commitment and dedication to conduct such an event for a noble cause.

Unit vice President Aboobakar G.H., Secretary Jamal Kudroli, Seniormembers of Jamiyyatul Falah B.S. Mohammed Basheer, M.I.Bava, Salih Koya, Nazeer Ahmed and Mohammed Haneef were also present at the event and distributed the fruits packet to the patients and students.

The program got lot of appreciation from patients and relatives of patients.

Jamiyattul Falah a well-established charity organization intercepted with message ‘Education is the Key to Success’ in the year 1988 by like-minded individuals. It heralded a revolution in creating awareness on education in the Muslim community of DK & Udupi. It has been instrumental in bringing about a sea- change in educational awareness in Muslim community. It made systematic efforts to see that the message ‘Education is the Key to Success’ reached Muslim community in remote parts of the district. It roped in leaders of local jamats, formed taluk level committees and encouraged and guided youths to join the movement. Gulf sector of JF also joined hands to support the cause wholeheartedly.

Jamiyyatul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organizationaided Greenview primary, high school and college celebrated Green-Fest Annual day-2018on Sunday, 30 December 2018 from 10:30am. inGreenviewsports ground at Adkare Padpu, Konaje.

Annual Day forms an integral part of our school activities.  It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements. It is a joyous occasion, which we all look forward to. For teachers it is a great opportunity, to showcase the talents they have nurtured in the children, and for the parents it is a matter of great pride to watch them on stage.

The programme started off with ‘Qirat’ rendered by Mohammed Anas (V std.).

JFCC treasurer Ibrahim Kodijalwelcomed the gathering and dignitaries.He briefed about Jamiyyatul Falah intention to start this educational institution in such a remote area was to provide free education with meal and books to the backward class people to move ahead in life.

The functions were presided over by JFCC President Shahul Hameed K.K. He inspired the audience to participate in such event in large numbers which will strongly bond the student-teacher relationship. 

Mangalore Taluk Panchayath President Mr. Mohammed Monu inaugurated the program by watering a coconut plant as a symbol of echo friendliness.

Principal Aboobakar presented the annual report. He read out the achievements of the school – both Academic and Co-curricular and wished success to the students who could not make up for the prizes. He thanked JF executive committee and members for supporting the educational institution wholeheartedly.

Guest of honours Badruddin Panambur, Shabih Khazi Kaup and school committee members M.H. Malar, K.M.K.Manjanady, B.M. Thumbay spoke in this occasion.

Badruddin Panambur and Shabih Khazi Kaup offered two sewing machines each to the school.

The Annual Prize Distribution function was a moment of pride and honour for all the winners and achievers of the school. The students were awarded prizes in the Academic as well as Co-Curricular areas. In this event retired teachers who served the school tirelessly and the students who secured good marks in SSLC and PUC were also felicitated.

The other dignitaries present were JFCC Vice President Abu Mohammed, General Secretary Saleem Handel, Administrator Shameer Ahmed Kudroli, Padmavathi, P.M. Mohammed, Mrs. Flevi, Mrs. Gopika Abdul Khader members of Konaje Taluk Panchayath, Nazar Shah Pattori, Abdul Sattar, Shoukath Ali, President and members of the school betterment committee were present on the dais to grace the occasion.

District-in-charge Minster Sri.U.T. Khader graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the Cultural Show in the evening. He inaugurated the program and addressed the huge gathering. He appreciated the organization for running the school in such a remote area to provide the quality education to uplift the downtrodden section of the community.

The two–hour long cultural show held the audience in awe and left themenlightened as the show culminated.

At the end the honourable guests applauded the school for its all-round success and wished a better future for the students. This was followed by the national anthem and thus the celebration ended.

Jamiyyatul Falah Greenview School/College held Alumni-Parents Annual Sports day.

Jamiyyatul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization aided Greenview primary, high school and college conducted Alumni (old students) and Parents Annual Sports day-2018 on Monday, 24 December 2018 at 9:30am. in Greenview sports ground at Adkare Padpu, Konaje.

The event began with Principal Aboobakar welcoming the gathering and dignitaries.  Alumni Association President, Abdul Khader presided over the meeting, Vice President Mustafa and General Secretary Siraj Adkarepadpu spoke in the event and urged the members to actively participate to make the event a grand success.

Jamiyyatul Falah Administrator Shameer Ahmed Kudroli inaugurated the event. In his inaugural address he encouraged the Alumni of the school as well as parents of the students to participate in large numbers in such sort of events which was a fun bonding for parents and their children on sports day. He emphasised the alumni that, it’s the time to give back to the school which provided them everything when they were none. He further added that such event is a chance to come back, get together with your old classmates/teammates, play some sport, and re-live all the memories.

Shameer Kudroli took the advantage of this event and informed the parents to encourage their children to concentrate and support them during the examination period as children need moral support to excel in their final exams which may bring the laurels to the school and community. As such event was conducted for the first time in the school, he highlighted that more parents and alumni shall be invited to participate in the coming years.

Annual friendly day of competition brought together alumni of all ages. The fun time included everything from Kabaddi, Throwball, shot-put to cricket match and tug-of-war for men. Musical chair, bombing the city, shot-put and spoon and lemon race were conducted for women participants.

The fantastic turnout from the Alumni and the pleasant weather gave a perfect boost for the old students on their very first sports day celebration in the school ground, even the students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way. Once the event began, the air was filled with cheers and tons of encouragement for the seniors.

There were some games for parents and staff to know each other better. It was indeed a fun bonding for parents and their children on sports day.  It has been decided by the Alumni Association to hold the Alumni Sports Day every year in a grand manner.

School Teacher Namitha B.N. compered the program and Physical Trainer Mohammed Ashraf coordinated the sports event.

Jamiyattul Falah and D.K. Education dept. held Teachers Meet to enhance SSLC result in minority community students.

Jamiyattul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization in association with D.K. Zillah Panchayath Public Education Department conducted Teachers Meet with Dakshina Kannada  district schools to improve and enhance the result in forthcoming SSLC board examination  on  Monday, 17/12/2018 from 9:30am. at Jamiyyatul Falah Headquarters Auditorium, near Rahmaniya Masjid, Kankanady.

The event started with the rhyme recital by Hamza Mittur. JF D.K. & Udupi district President Shahul Hameed K.K. inaugurated and welcomed the large gathering.  He stressed the priority to improve the SSLC result especially in backward class by giving utmost importance to the studies and convince the students who are studying in SSLC to give priority to the final exams keeping assigned their other activities in order to perform well in the preparatory and final exams. A total of 203 teachers were present in the meeting from 104 schools.

Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI) Mr. Sivaramayya, had illustrated the pass percentage of minority students with some statistics and informed all the teachers to get charged to bring good result in D.K. Teachers of various schools spoke in the event and expressed their hindrance in some areas to be improved.

Many teachers gave their opinion on how to improve the upcoming SSLC results. JFCC Treasurer Ibrahim Kodijal, General Secretary Saleem Handel, V.P. Abu Mohammed, Administrator Shameer Ahmed Kudroli and JFCC executive members were present to witness the beneficial program.

Following are the concern from some of the teachers for the Muslim minority students. Which includes (a) Postponement of madarassa exam timing so that the students get more time for their school exams studies, (b) Avoid the floodlight matches and tournaments which sometime end up at 1:00am during the time of examination or prior three months from examination date. (c) Avoid SSLC students’ involvement from religious activities which end up in late night. (d) Imam (masjid head) of each jamath (vicinity) shall take the initiative and encourage the students to concentrate on their studies for better results and last but not the least each school teachers must give special attention to the lacking minority students so that they can get good grades in the upcoming SSLC Exams.

Towards the end, suggestions were taken from the teachers to overcome the hindrance and improve the results.

Jamiyyatul Falah provided such a platform to improve and encourage backward minority students to get more interest in their studies. This initiative was well appreciated by district education department as well as they praised the contribution of Jf in the field of education and health sector.

Jamiyyatul Falah Greenview School/College Inaugurated three days Annual Sports Meet.

Jamiyyatul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization aided Greenview primary, high school and college inaugurated three days Annual Sports Meet-2018 on Thursday, 13 December 2018 at 9:30am. in Greenview sports ground at Adkare Padpu, Konaje.

The event started with a positive note from School/college Principal Aboobaker who welcomed the dignitaries.  JFCC treasurer Ibrahim Kodijal was the presiding officer for the event. He hoisted the flag and took the salute from the cadets of school’s four houses. In his presidential speech, he stressed to give importance to sports for the growth of mind and body.

A.B.Hassainar inaugurated the sports event. Jamiyyatul Falah Administrator Distinguished Toastmaster Shameer Ahmed Kudroli emphasized that such event will boost the confidence in students and sports will play vital role in shaping up the students to become leaders in future. Al Ihsan Youth association President and old student association Secretary M.C. Siraj Adkarepadpu spoke in the event. Primary school head teacher Mrs. Evlin D Ivan, social worker Mohammed and school development committee members were also present on the dais.

Old student associate vice president Mustafa received the guard of honour. Vice President of Sneha Deepa Mrs.Thabssum who were also the former student of the school received the torch flam from sports captain as a symbol to commence the event. Panchayath members Mrs. Thahira and Mrs. Flevi were also present in the event.

The event has taken forward by the children marching in their sports uniform which made the event more colourful, besides being spectacular, there is something inexplicably inspiring about a march fast was a sense of dignity and pride the cadets bring to it. A well-coordinated march-fast was a feast to the eyes and ears where coupled with some string marching music.

Thousands of students have come out of the school after passing the matriculation and pursued higher education in pre-university college till now. At present the school has 310 students and 14 teaching staff.  The primary school students’ get midday meal and milk under midday meal & Ksheera Bhagya scheme of the Karnataka Government. However JF provide these facilities to high school and college students as well. In addition, the children are being provided with books and other requirements free of cost.  The schools have assumed a proactive role in the community development by educating parents and local residents on sanitation, hygiene, value of education and such other issues of public importance.

Jamiyattul Falah Mangaluru City Unit conducts Edu-Care Camp at JF HQ Hall, Kankanady

Jamiyattul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization’s Mangaluru Corporation Unit conducted JF Edu-Care camp to provide guidance pertaining to the topics such as Motivational Talk, career guidance, goal setting, CET pre-counselling guidance, orientation on civil service exams and government jobs, information on scholarship and facilities for SSLC, PUC, Degree and PG students on  Sunday, 2/12/2018 from 9:00am to 2:30pm at Jamiyyatul Falah HQ, Community hall, near Rahmaniya Masjid, Kankanady.

The event started with the Quran recitation by the unit President of Mangalore Corporation Mr. AbdulQadir. Mr. Imtiyaz Katib welcomed the august gathering.  JF D.K. & Udupi district President Shahul Hameed K.K. inaugurated and enlighten the importance of such camps in student life. NRCC Riyadh representative Parvez Ali also briefed the gathering.

Jamiyattul Falah felicitated Mind trainer and managing director of Sadhana academy Dr. Surfraz J. Hashim who was recently conferred with ‘National Healthcare Icon Award 2018’ for his outstanding contribution in the field of mind training towards holistic health with the help of traditional science to promote and development of natural health.

Dr. Surfraz Hashim conducted the training for the students related mind power and how to mend the mind power positively to face the examination with confidence.

Mr. Syed Ameen Ahmed, research scholar and career guidance trainer, elaborately explained the students to get the benefits of the limitless opportunities available in the current job market once they complete the education.

Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed furnished the particulars on scholarship and facilities provided by the government to the minority students.

Senior members of Jamiyyatul Falah M.I.Bava, Hamad Bava, Saduddin Salih, PBA Razzak, Aboobakar G.H., B.S. Basheer, Salih Koya, Hamza Mittur, Nazeer Ahmed, Ibrahim Kodijal, Adam Byari and JF Administrator Shameer Ahmed Kudroli were also present to grace the event.

This training camp had a very good response and was a grand success. This Edu-care camp encouraged the organizers to promote such sessions in schools and colleges for the benefit of students.

Jamiyyatul Falah Green View School conducted workshop on ‘Secret of Success’ for SSLCStudents

Jamiyyatul Falah (Unity for Success), a state government award winning charity organization’s Moodbidri Unitin association with JCI Moodbidri Tribuvan, conducted ‘Secret of Success – GeluvinaGuttu’titled pre-examination workshop for SSLCstudents to enlighten how to face the exams with confidence on Wednesday, 28/11/2018 from 2:00am to 4:30pm at Jamiyyatul Falah aided Green View High School and PU College, AdkarePadpu, Konaje, Mangaluru.

The event started with a positive note from School/college Principal Aboobaker and welcomed the dignitaries like school convener M.H. Malar who briefly explained the purpose of conducting such eventand JF General Secretary Salim Handel, Trainer SanthoshShetty, Training Coordinator S.A. Gafoor and JF Administrator Shameer Ahmed Kudroli.

The Trainer SanthoshShettycommenced his workshop with various examples of great leaders and how they reached the pinnacle of success with their hard work and dedication. He provided important tips and strategiesto follow while preparing for the examination and get good marks with ease through his PowerPoint presentation.

The students of SSLC were keen to know the content and assured that they will follow theseguidelinesto get higher scores in the examinations. It was a well prepared event to reduce the burden and anxiety from students during annual board examination period.

The session concluded with questions and answer as well as views from participated students and teachers.

The Head teacher thanked the effort of Jamiyyatul Falah Executive Committee and members for conducting such workshop which benefits the students while preparing for examinations.
