To begin with, four remote under developed villages with predominant Muslim population – Adkare Padpu, Malar, Ira and Bolluru – in Bantwal & Mangalore taluks, were selected for the project.
The Gren View School is being upgraded in 2015-16 as PU Composite college for the benefit of girls students of surrounding locality with an aim to start degree and other professional courses.
Scholarship support for students had become a mirage in those days and Jamiyyatul Falah came up with a programme to extend the benefit to poor and meritorious students of the community.
Jamiyyatul Falah never lost its sight over comprehensive development of students. Towards this end, it regularly organised career guidance camps for students and their parents at taluk level.
Hostels & Community Development Centre
Rural students of the community who came to Mangalore for higher studies were facing accommodation problem in those days. Though there were some such facilities, they were out of reach for poor students.
Dropout Schools – Sarva Shiksha
Another noteworthy programme taken up by Jamiyyatul Falah is the effort to arrest school dropout rate in the Muslim community. In the course of our involvement with education
